FCP has been proudly supporting the Bike to School Fairhope program since 2017, and it’s been so much fun watching it grow, so much so that additional bike racks have been needed! The current record is an incredible 90 students riding to school.
The program was started by Meredith Montgomery at Fairhope Elementary, and FCP was thrilled to help support its success by donating another fish rack. We also partnered with the Fairhope Police Department and local bike shop Pro Cycle Fairhope to host a safety demonstration for the students.
These rack projects has been made possible by generous donations from The Hargrove Foundation, Pro Cycle Fairhope, Point Clear Rotary, and Iron & Canvas, Tobias, McCormick, and Comer, LLC, Fairhope Ironworks, and AutoCraft Collision Center.
